A day in the life of Santa Claus during Christmas with ProofHub

If you have ever planned a Christmas party, then I’m sure you would have an idea how chaotic it can be. You have to manage so many things at one time. It’s like managing a BIG project. Isn’t it so?

“If Santa Claus can end the management chaos, why can’t you? Try ProofHub today!”

Did you ever wonder how the biggest project manager of them all is able to manage this chaos all on his own? We are talking about Santa Claus here. Well, his situation was no different than us a few years back when he was doing everything using a pen and a paper. Things were in a mess. And, he used to have sleepless nights thinking how he’ll carry out distribution of gifts? Have the elves wrapped all the gifts? Are all the addresses printed? And, all such stuff. Until one fine day he found ProofHub!

Thanks to ProofHub, Santa is now able to get everything done without any disarray. As a matter of fact, the happiest person on this planet is now Mrs. Claus. Santa now finally has some time to give to her during Christmas.

Let us have a look how Santa manages his Christmas project using ProofHub

Everyone has a role to play

Task management was the biggest problem that Santa had to face. All the elves were always jumping up and down with joy when they given some work. But, keeping track of who’s doing what was a tough task to handle using pen and paper.

ProofHub brought the perfect cure for this problem. All Santa had to do was to add an individual elf as in-charge of a particular list and begin. The fact that he could define a custom role for each elf within the tool made it easier to distribute work . So, every elf knew what they have to do. And, there was no confusion!

Everyone has got a place to share ideas

With everyone on the same page, and at one place, Santa could now take suggestions from his elves. By creating a discussion topic in ProofHub and adding all the elves to it, Santa could now collaborate with them. And, it did not waste any time in discussing with them one-on-one.

Everyone could share their ideas on what they have in mind for Christmas this year. And, how they plan to move ahead with the gift distribution. This meant they were spending more time on doing things. And less on arranging meetings and discussing this.

So, Santa could now have the peace of mind that everyone is on the right track!

Everyone has got tasks to complete

With the roles defined, Santa could create task lists and assign them to individuals. Here’s how Santa did it -

  • Alabaster Snowball got the role as in-charge of children’s lists.
  • Bushy was to manage toy making activities. Whether the machines are working or not, and similar other tasks.
  • Pepper Minstix and Shinny Upatree. They got the duty to keep Santa’s secret village hidden from the outer world.
  • Sugarplum Mary will work with Mrs. Claus to prepare the sweets.
  • Wunorse Openslae will take care of decorating Santa’s ride i.e. the sleigh.

Based on what they had to do, each elf could now jot down the list of things he/she had to do. And, make sure that the Christmas gift distribution went through without any hiccup.

Everyone has deadlines to meet

Preparing the gifts was one problem. But, another challenge was to make sure they’ve wrapped gifts on time. Also, whether the gifts got loaded on the sleigh on a set date? And, then carrying out distribution without missing the deadline.

Keeping track for all these dates using a paper calendar meant a lot of confusion. This also meant the chances of delay in gift distribution . Or, completely missed for a particular region. But, Santa would not let this happen as it would spread sadness on the occasion of Christmas.

Thanks to ProofHub’s online calendar the chances of deadlines getting missed were completely eliminated. Santa could mark each task with a start and end date. So each elf had an idea about by which date they must finish their tasks. And, they could plan everything out. And, adjust their speed for tasks in accordance to the deadlines.

All the information is at one place

The list of regions Santa has to cover. From which region should Santa begin with the distribution? Which gifts do the elves need to be load? Which sleigh do the elves have to load with gifts for naughty kids and which for the others?

Where to jot down all these? Before ProofHub, Santa was using a notebook to jot all this stuff down. But, misplacing the notebook meant he had to start from ground zero every time. Thanks to Notes in ProofHub, he now had a central place for storing everything.

All the plans made for gift-distribution. The maps for route Santa needed to take for the journey and everything else. Santa could store all that in ProofHub using notes and files feature. So, the problem of losing notebook came to an end with ProofHub.

Santa can keep track of everything

But, how did Santa know everything is going smooth? Well, ProofHub had a solution for that as well. With details filled in the tool, Santa could keep an eye on everything using Gantt chart.

What’s the status of Snowball on sorting of lists? How many toys did the workers completed and wrapped? Are Mrs. Santa and Mary ready with the sweets? Santa could get to know it all with just a glance at the Gantt chart. He could even set dependencies between tasks. So, everyone could become accountable for their work.

Just a small example — Santa marked Bushy’s activities dependent on Snowball’s preparation of list. Bushy needed to know which gifts are he has to create for the kids based on Snowball’s data. So, Snowball knew until he completed his task, Bushy could not move even a step further. Hence, he needed to finish his tasks on time.

Everything is in harmony!

With all the features in ProofHub, Santa could now orchestrate all the events. And, plan things in an effortless manner. From the collection of children’s gift requests to sorting them out. And creating gifts based on the data and loading them on the sleigh. Everyone in the team knew what they have to do and by when.

So, the chances of things getting skipped and deadlines getting missed were almost eliminated.

“Gift yourself a solution for all your project management troubles this Christmas. Start using ProofHub.”

This meant that Santa now also a lot of time to spend with Mrs. Claus on the Christmas Eve. And, that’s the ultimate motto of Christmas! To spread happiness in the world and spend some quality time with your family!

There you see. Santa was able to bring peace even during the hectic Christmas days using ProofHub this year. If you also want to end the chaos in your projects, then give it a try!

Merry Christmas!
